Healthcare Assistant/Support Worker

Safehands Recruitment is looking for dedicated, passionate Support Workers to join our team.

Our clients provides care to individuals with complex difficulties and challenges that require specialised ‘person centred’ support in a caring yet productive environment.

As a care and support worker you will enable the residents, patients or young people across our client’s service to live as independently as possible. You’ll be supporting individuals with learning disability, autism and mental health conditions with day-to-day tasks including personal care, appointments, mealtimes, hobbies and activities

What can our client offer you?

• Regular work
• Specialist training to give you the tools to be a fantastic support worker!
• 8am to 3pm Day shifts
• 3pm to 10pm Late shifts
• 10pm to 8am Night shifts
• 8am to 10pm Longer day shifts
• Weekday and Weekend work available

What are we looking for?

• Previous care or support work experience preferred, however applicants who are new to care will be strongly considered provided you demonstrate a desire to work with people with complex needs
• Be attentive and inspire service users to achieve more!
• Be resilient and help manage some behaviours that challenge
• Motivated, honest and approachable
• Willing to carry out personal care requirements where necessary
• Be a good communicator and have good attention to detail – the little things make a difference!
• Reference History (2 references minimum)
