Meet the Team: Bristol

This month we caught up with Oli Yuille, Manager of the Bristol franchise to learn a little more about his branch.

SH: Hi Oli, great to see you! How are things?

OY: Hi team! All is very good here thank you. We’ve just found out that we’ve been shortlisted for the People Services award in the Bristol Life Awards. The criteria included demonstrating that people are our specialism and that we are exceptional at developing talent and helping them grow successfully. We are so pleased!

SH: What are the main care facilities that you support?

OY: We support mental health hospitals and residential units, supported living settings, challenging behaviour learning disability residential services, hospitals, and care homes.

SH: What roles are you currently recruiting for?

OY: Currently we have lots of nursing roles to fill, including RMNs and RGNs. We are also recruiting support workers in Weston-Super-Mare and Bath and HCAs in the North Bristol boroughs.

SH: Who is in the team and what do they do?

OY: We have three members of the Safehands Recruitment team here in Bristol, Chris, Klaudia and me,

I focus on sales and recruitment, Chris manages sales and rota management and Klaudia manages our payroll and compliance.

SH: Do you have any claims to fame in the office?

OY: I was interviewed on BBC News once about the soaring cost of temporary nursing (see the picture!) Chris played football on TV for Portsmouth and travelled the world playing cricket!

SH: Why do you work well together?

OY: We all play to our strengths and know each other well as we’ve worked together in the past.

SH: What office traditions do you have?

OY: We love a Wagamamas and have recently had three in a row!
