Safehands Recruitment is currently assisting a very prestigious client in Cleckheaton to recruit a Registered General Nurse / Mental Health Nurse (RGN / RMN) for night shifts, offering £18.85 per hour and a £20.00 supplement per shift. This is a part-time permanent position that entails 12 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide support to the care team and oversee care planning, provision, and evaluation.
Ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality care in accordance with Company Policies and Procedures.
Develop and lead care staff, providing direct and indirect supervision.
Manage the clinical environment, demonstrating strong clinical leadership.
Uphold service users’ dignity and individuality.
Maintain a secure environment for service users, staff, and visitors.
Ensure compliance with Health and Social Care Act 2008 regulations and Care Quality Commission standards.
Additional Responsibilities:
Adhere to agreed standards in delivering top-quality nursing care.
Provide clinical expertise across all aspects of nursing care.
Participate in education and assessment of care team, including nursing students.
Safely administer prescribed medications and closely monitor service users.
Manage distressing situations for service users with chronic or terminal illnesses.
Maintain effective communication with the care team, other teams, service users’ representatives, and Allied Health Professionals.
Participate in daily Safety Huddles, Multi-Disciplinary Team Meetings, and staff meetings.
Essential Criteria:
Qualifications:
Registered Nurse with valid Nursing and Midwifery Council registration.
Experience:
Demonstrated ability to provide quality care, strong interpersonal and leadership skills, and knowledge of Nursing Midwifery Council guidelines.
Organisational, teamwork, time management, and adaptability skills.
Basic computer literacy, first aid knowledge, and health and safety awareness.
Kind, considerate, innovative, caring, honest, reliable, trustworthy, and respectful attitude.
Ability to work independently, under pressure, and remain calm, with flexibility, adaptability, and self-awareness.
Special Mandatory Requirements:

Job Details:

Experience:
1 year of nursing experience preferred.
Licence/Certification:
NMC (Nursing and Midwifery Council) certification preferred.
