As a Safehands Support worker, you will benefit from:

Rgn (Registered General Nurse)

Safehands Recruitment is assisting a prestigious client in Selby, specializing in versatile care services, designed to cater to individuals with various care needs, including older people, those with dementia, physical disabilities, and offering day and respite care. The home provides a homely and comforting environment, ensuring a stress-free lifestyle and welcoming visits from loved ones. They are seeking the services of a Registered General Nurse (RGN) for day shifts, offering £18.00 PH. This is a full-time permanent position comprising 24 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide care team support, oversee care planning, and ensure high-quality care delivery.
  • Develop and lead care staff, maintaining a secure clinical environment.
  • Uphold service users’ dignity and adhere to regulations and standards.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to agreed standards, provide clinical expertise, administer medications, and manage challenging situations.
  • Maintain effective communication and actively participate in meetings.

Qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse with valid Nursing and Midwifery Council registration. Experience:
  • Demonstrated ability to provide quality care, strong interpersonal and leadership skills, and knowledge of Nursing Midwifery Council guidelines.
  • Strong organizational, teamwork, time management, and adaptability skills.
  • Basic computer literacy, first aid knowledge, and health and safety awareness.
  • Display kindness, consideration, innovation, care, honesty, reliability, trustworthiness, and respect.

Special Mandatory Requirements:

  • Compliance with Health and Social Care Act 2008 regulations.
  • Immediate reporting of safeguarding concerns.
  • Implementation of health and safety policies.
  • Infection prevention and control compliance.
  • Maintenance of mandatory vaccinations.
  • Attendance at mandatory training.
  • Promotion of equal opportunities.

Job Details:

  • 12-hour day shifts with weekend availability.
  • Requires relocation or reliable commuting to Selby. Experience:
  • 1 year of nursing experience preferred. Licence/Certification:
  • NMC (Nursing and Midwifery Council) certification preferred.

This is a full-time position with a salary of £22464 /  £18.00 per hour, offering on-site parking and day shift scheduling. Work will be conducted in person.

Learning Disability Support Worker - Kidderminster
