Due to continued growth the company are looking for an experienced Team Leader for their supported living service in Leicester.

  • To be responsible for the management within the services.
  • To develop and co-ordinate a flexible, high quality service forthe service users

Due to expansion my client is looking for an experienced Registered Manager to cover 2 small services in the Leominster area. 

Both services are brand new and are 2 bedded EBD for children. 

As Registered Manager you will oversee the care planning process of children. Supervise the team in accordance with supervision policies, be an active and positive member of the management team and to lead the home through Ofsted Inspections. Other duties include but are not limited to:

  • To ensure that all recommendations from the Ofsted Inspection and, or Regulation 44 visits are implemented.
  • To deliver on-call support
  • To attend and contribute to supervision sessions and appraisal processes.
  • To work in a safe manner and ensure that both the young people and the staff team are safe at all times

As a registered manager, you must have:

  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
  • 1 years’ experience of management of a team.
  • 2 years’ experience in a children’s residential setting or in residential services.
  • Full, clean UK driving licence
  • An enhanced DBS certificate will be required upon appointment.

The Role: 

  • Supporting the Service Manager in the delivery of high-quality care and support and to deputise when required.
  • Supervising / managing staff and assisting key workers and support staff and providing staff and service users with relevant advice, support and training and putting your belief in Christ into action as a manager
  • Facilitating and ensuring effective communication within the service and the wider Trust and ensuring teams are briefed fully
