Due to expansion my client is looking for an experienced Registered Manager to cover a residential service in Worcester

The service specialises in EBD.

As Registered Manager you will oversee the care planning process of children. Supervise the team in accordance with supervision policies, be an active and positive member of the management team and to lead the home through Ofsted Inspections. Other duties include but are not limited to:

  • To ensure that all recommendations from the Ofsted Inspection and, or Regulation 44 visits are implemented.
  • To deliver on-call support
  • To attend and contribute to supervision sessions and appraisal processes.
  • To work in a safe manner and ensure that both the young people and the staff team are safe at all times

As a registered manager, you must have:

  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
  • 1 years’ experience of management of a team.
  • 2 years’ experience in a children’s residential setting or in residential services.
  • Full, clean UK driving licence
  • An enhanced DBS certificate will be required upon appointment.

Provide a bespoke adapted supported living services for a man with an Acquired Brain Injury. The service will offer an empowering model of support which will enable him to lead a fulfilling and valued life – being part of his family, participating in his local community, developing independent living skills and achieve his personal goals.

  • To enable the service users to maintain their independence, experience improved wellbeing, and enjoy opportunities for personal development.

This role is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of children with life-shortening conditions and their families. As Trust Director, you will be instrumental in delivering our strategic goals, supported by an experienced Senior Management Team and Board of Trustees.

The Trust Director will balance leading the team, engaging directly with families, and representing the charity on a local and national stage. The Role:

  • Observing, coaching and giving feedback to colleagues who are working towards their Care Certificate on how well they demonstrate the required skills, knowledge and behaviours.
  • Coaching and mentoring new colleagues.
  • Demonstrating practice leadership.
  • Monitoring the levels of Person-Centred Active Support (PCAS) being demonstrated and looking for ways we can continually improve.
  • Leading team or house meetings
  • Involvement in ‘Voices to be Heard’.
  • Working with families and other circles of support.

Required:
