Safehands Recruitment is currently assisting a very prestigious charity in Bradford to recruit a Team Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of their Bradford Leadership Team. They are looking for talented individuals with experience in social care in a supervisory role, working with people with learning disabilities. This is a full-time permanent position that entails 37.5 hours a week.

£25,000 – £27,000 per annum depending on experience

Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Service Manager to facilitate the day-to-day operations of our support services.
Organise and monitor daily support services, ensuring efficient and high-quality delivery.
Work with a diverse team to support adults with varying needs.
Empower individuals to have control over their lives, promoting independence and freedom of choice.
Provide encouragement, guidance, and support to enable independent living.
What we need from you:
Driver’s License:
A valid driver’s license is required for this role.
Experience:
Previous experience in social care, specifically working with individuals with learning disabilities, complex needs, and autism.
Qualification:
An NVQ3 in Social Care or equivalent, or actively working towards one.
Availability:
Must be available for on-call duties on a rotational basis.
Personal Qualities:
Compassion, integrity, and a commitment to treating people with dignity and respect.
Reliability:
Dependability is crucial, as individuals rely on your support.
Flexibility:
This role covers a wide geographical area, requiring travel between locations and flexibility in working hours, including evenings, weekends, and overnight shifts as needed.
Communication Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with proficiency in IT and numeracy.
Supervisory Experience:
Prior experience in a supervisory role and the ability to motivate a staff team.
