As we indulge in our Christmas feasts let us take a moment to think of all the dedicated care workers who are supporting vulnerable people this festive season. The reality is that many individuals in our communities require care on the 25th December; whether in a residential home or spending Christmas with family, receiving continuity of care is always appreciated by patients.
Christmas is a particularly important time for carers. Responsibilities on Christmas day may be no different to any other day, though knowing their visit will have a special resonance and seeing a familiar face to share celebrations with is always valued.
On this note, we would like to share our gratitude to all our workers who play a part in other people’s happiness this Christmas; thank you from all of us at Safehands. Likewise, we look forward to seeing all our employees in 2020 for another great year.
Wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New year!
From Katie and the Safehands team
