Leanne joined Safehands in 2024 and brings a wealth of experience in both healthcare and recruitment management.

She leads the Staffordshire branch to deliver a consistent, first-class service to clients, ensuring they receive the highest quality of care from our team.

Liam joined Safehands last year, bringing with him a wealth of experience in recruitment and flexible staffing solutions. With a strong background in connecting people and services, Liam is passionate about making a genuine difference and finding purpose in the work he does. In his role, Liam focuses on building lasting relationships with health and social care providers across Staffordshire and Cheshire, ensuring they have access to reliable, qualified, experienced, and above all, caring staff when they need them most.

Oli has over 25 years of recruitment experience. In 2021 he opened up the first Safehands Recruitment franchise in Bristol. Having this opportunity has been a great journey for him and he is still enjoying his experience. Since working with Safehands, Oli has learnt from the Senior Management team how to support the opening of a new business which he hopes to replicate in the future.

In his spare time, he enjoys going to the gym and cooking.

Oli’s best piece of career advice is to have an aim and put in the hard work to achieve it.

Gary McCarthy has worked in healthcare for over 38 years, beginning as a dedicated caregiver and progressing to a manager and teacher. With 16 years of experience as a certified educator, he brings a wealth of knowledge to his role. As a seasoned training manager, he specialises in an array of comprehensive healthcare training courses, delivering them in a friendly, easy-to-follow format.
